Basil Schubert

Born in Basel, raised in Neuchâtel, and briefly educated in Zurich, I eventually found my way back to Basel—proof that all Swiss roads really do lead home.

I’ve worked in different fields over the years, but photography has always been the constant.

I use my camera to share how I see the world: the everyday, the unexpected, and, if I’m lucky, even the invisible. Sometimes it’s all perfectly composed… sometimes it’s just a blur with good intentions.

Still in Basel, still shooting, still looking for that perfect shot—and maybe my missing lens cap.
